Join CITiZAN South East for a free training session in archaeological recording for intertidal zones. Friday 27th (start time TBC): Evening classroom based session with presentations on the CITiZAN project; history of the site, research questions and documentary research; archaeological recording skills; an introduction to the CITiZAN app; health and safety of the foreshore and a practice session in measured survey

Saturday and Sunday 28th and 29th: (late morning, exact times TBC) foreshore sessions to create detailed site plans for U-121 and the SS Oushla; revisit the Coonatto to update our records and check for changes due to erosion and create detailed photographic records of all three sites.
