GUIDED TOUR: Tennyson Down excavation

Situated on the highest point of Tennyson Down on the Isle of Wight is an enigmatic pre-historic enclosure which is being rapidly lost to cliff erosion. CITiZAN and the National Trust are running a community excavation to find out more about the site before it is lost. Come and find out what we have discovered on our community excavation by a guided tour of the site.

Training: Victoria Docks

This training event is specifically for 16 - 25 year olds who wish to get some hands on experience with archaeology. This is Festival of British Archaeology event, run in association with the Council of British Archaeology. We will be looking at the history of Victoria Docks, where Earles Shipyard was located and where there are now the remains of three timber hulled vessels.
