Events in 2015
CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- The CITiZAN SW team will be recording the remains at Gwithian, Cornwall. We would like your help! No experience needed, training will be given, just come with an interest and a keenness to find out about your local heritage!
- Join us for an archaeological training event at Cleethorpes beach. A combination of archaeological drawing, recording and plotting will be taught to help plan the submerged forest and possible timber structures located in the intertidal zone.
- Come at join us at Porthcressa on Tuesday 22nd September, we will be teaching all of those present how to use the most basic of tools for archaeological survey, we will also be demonstrating our app, the perfect tool for busy people!
- The CITiZAN south west team will be at the Isle of Scilly museum talking to the community about how the project and the Isles of Scilly Community Archaeology Group can work together for the benefit of local heritage.
- Meet the CITiZAN South East team as we help out with the Marine Conservation Society Great British Beach Clean
